They can mainly be seen and heard outside the Netherlands. A highlight for the trio was the double bill concert with Chick Corea at the legendary jazz club Ronnie Scott's in London. As the opening act of the Taiwan Jazz Festival, they played for 60,000 enthusiastic jazz lovers. The trio is a real working band: they rehearse weekly and tour all over the world. In addition, the Rembrandt Trio plays a pioneering role in collaborating with top European musicians. They gave concerts with Paolo Fresu, Vincent Peirani, Norma Winstone, Sylvain Rifflet & Perico Sambeat. The Rembrandt Frerichs Trio presented an album in the legendary jazz club Birdland in New York. Both in 2007 and 2014 albums by the trio were nominated for the Edisons.
