After the release of their studio album Journey Of Man in 2019, jazz trumpeter and Edison winner Teus Nobel played no fewer than twenty concerts with this jazz formation, the Liberty Group. It resulted in such a well-rehearsed formation that after a concert in the Amsterdam Bimhuis, de Volkskrant even referred to 'one of the finest experiences a lover of live jazz could wish for' (5 stars). The formation started writing new repertoire and recorded an album for live audiences in June 2021: Pleasure Is The Measure. These recording concerts also appealed to the press; 'Teus Nobel | Liberty Group is heading for a golden future," said Jazzenzo. With this repertoire, this formation is now coming to Porgy & Bess!
