Paul Hanson (USA, bassoon) is the founder of the 'Electric Bassoon' and has specialized in mixing electronic effects with his frenzied and phenomenal improvisations. His instrument is unique in that it is rare in jazz and is considered the most classic of all woodwinds. Paul worked with notable jazz musicians such as; Billy Cobham, Wayne Shorter, Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine, Billy Higgins and many other jazz and fusion artists, as well as classical ensembles and orchestras.
Carlos Rodrigues alias Kabeçaõ (Portugal, Hangdrum) is a Portuguese multi-instrumentalist, composer, busker and sound healer who creates his own approach to music and sound. With his unique, poetic and percussive style, he has redefined the musical possibilities of the handpan; by playing several instruments at the same time, he creates beautiful, enchanting and meditative music. Kabeçao is adept and virtuoso, mainly using his more spiritual and meditative elements in his playing. He is one of the few players who plays multiple 'hangs' at the same time. This is extra complex, because every hang drum has its own key. He can't read music, so needs an approach more focused on a more auditory way of working during this project.
