The objective was there: to try to make bluegrass sounding as authentic as possible. With that approach, the Rosine Bluegrass Family started forming in 2020. After a long search for fellow musicians and then rehearsing fanatically, they are now ready to step outside. Passionate musicians with a big heart for all things bluegrass; mandolin, banjo, guitar, violin and double bass topped off with magnificent polyphonic vocals.
Be transported back to the early days of bluegrass with songs by the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and many other pioneers! The band members:
Joris Lodder and Roos Dobson: vocals
Joost van Beek: guitar
Yannick van Berlo: mandolin
Fokke Osterthun: banjo
Karen van der Stal: violin
Menno Vink: double bass
