Volunteers. It would be great to increase our team that manages the stage technical team (sound and light). Also a social media expert is a team member we would highly appreciate to add to our team.

What is happening? Porgy and Bess manages around 80 cultural and music events annually.  This is only possible with the support of our volunteer team!  This Porgy Crew exists of a team of passionate people who all contribute, combining this with their normal work, family and school.  Each contributes time based upon available time and where they believe their passion is best used in Porgy and Bess, like doing bar duty, serving, working with the stage technics, acting as one of the webmasters, taking care of the artists, running the ticketing system during the performances as well managing the administrative tasks within the organization.

Porgy Crew badge.When becoming a member of the Porgy Crew, you are part of an unique and renowned organization which exists since 1957 and continues to evolve!  When you are doing your ‘work’ at least once per month you will get a Porgy Crew badge, which provides you free entrance to most of the shows which have been organized by Porgy and Bess.
